As you may have guessed, Vauxhall don't make oil. So my question is, what make is Vauxhall's oil. The reason I ask is that I bought some Vauxhall Semi Sunthetic 10W40 oil at the weekend and I noticed that the packaging was indentical to Millers oil.

I realise that this could be that they are packaged at the same place, but I though Millers was packaged in the US and not many oils come from there. Iy would be good if it was Millers oil.

When I bought my motorbike last year the guy who owned it worked for Vauxhall (R&D or sumthing). He was well clued up so I tend to believe him but he said the bogs danglies vauxhall oil was mobil 1.

He always ran the bike on the best at no-expense spared so if it's good engough for him.....

Be interested to have it proved.

Tesco Pure Vegetable Oil 3 Litre

Low in Saturates, High in Mono-unsaturates
An economical oil, ideal for deep and shallow frying and all culinary uses.
A good source of vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant and is recommended as part of a healthy balanced diet, which overall is low in fat, especially saturates.Additional Tesco statement:

ALLOW TO COOL

Sounds pretty similar?

The oil is made by QUANTUM which you can buy in its original packaging from german and swedish as QUANTUM also supply Volvo Saab Volkswagen Audi Skoda and Rolls Royce and others.

But its cheapest through Vauxhall trade club semi synthetic which is the best oil to go for is ÂŁ5.80 for five litres and if you buy four containers you get the fifth one free. BARGAIN!
