may be a loose connection somewhere , which can be anywhere, from your ignition switch to stsrter solinoid, to eve the poor earths, and so on .

yes we need more information like exactly what happens when it does not stsrt, does it crank, does it click, does it spin but won't fire? so tell us more so that you can be helped.

so what you are saying is it clicks everytime you turn the ignition switch, but may not start cranking..and you hear the starter solinoid engaging but it does not turn the engine.

Does your dashboard lights go dim when you do that?

You have to be more elbaorate in explaining us the exact nature of your problem, only then is it possible to suggest any ideas.

Sorry I am not sure what you mean by cim? Do you mean the immobiliser system?

usually a clicking noise is the starter solinoid trying to engage, and closing the contacts, it may often fail to engage fully, in some modern starters the solinoid will not even click as it is wired in series with the starter motor windings and if the armature brushes wear out then no current flows through any of the brushes and then you don't hear any clicking noises either as initially the solinoid current also has to pass through the stsrter motor brushes and through the windings, all depends on the type of starter motor, if yours is clicking but not turning then i suspect the starter motor fault but it could also be loose or bad wire connections especially the big thick wire from the battery to the stsrter motor, to check if the wire isn't loose or is not corroded or burnt anywhere along its path, disconnect your battery negative terminal and then have a look at your stsrter motor wiring, making sure any connections using nuts and bolts are all tight and no loose nuts and bolts, or corroison like appaerance on the final crimped part of the connector tab or eylet that is bolted on thye battery or the stsrter, and also check the solinoid signal wire should also be tight often a poor joint here can make a weak connection just to make some clicking noise but not enough to push the solinoid to engage the stsrter motor fully.

if you are new to this kind of work, it is most important that you disconnect the battery as any spanners coming into contact with live battery wiring can end up in terrible consequences, like burns to hands and arms, as the spanners can get caught between the battery positive and the vehicle body, and massive sparks can fly in all directions!

I suggest then take it to a garage or someone who can look at it for you, normally people who supply batteries or supply replacement alternator/starter motors can diagnose this for you probably for free, but my feelings is that if its a loose bolt or a nut they are going to have you over, and tell you need a new something even if it wasn't needed, and will probably tell you leave the car behind and come back and collect it later, leave your mobile number and so on! so its your choice how you want to take it on.
