Hiya,

I have a 1997 2.0 Diesel Vectra, the engine management light is flashing, I have had the code read and it is P1125 as per title. I have seen that the remedy for this fault is C-15 which I cannot find out what that is. I have noticed that when the engine is ticking over the exhaust recirc valve and the turbo boost valve are both opening and shutting.

I have had a good check round and cannot find any leaks on the vacuum pipes, there seems to be good vacuum on the system.

Can anyone help me out with any guidance as to what I should be looking for.

Cheers Nick.

could be the solenoid that controls the turbo, vacuum pump or a vacuum leak. the rubber hose on the ends of the plastic vacuum pipes tend to split
the vacuum pump could be weak but still seem like it has vacuum.when the car starts the wastegate for the turbo should be pulled closed with the vacuum

Hiya, thanks for the reply, I have managed to borrow a "Mityvac" and have checked out the vacuum system and have no leaks anywhere, the wastegate actuator works fine, both on the mityvac and on the vacuum (have checked the vacuum and am getting nearly -30psi) from the car, have checked the vacuum solenoid and that works fine too, but the signal to it is alternating on/off every second or so, together with the signal to the recirc valve (so both solenoids are clicking in and out all of the time whilst the engine is running).
