As title. I've been a complete idiot and removed all the ignition cables together on my engine from the coil pack before replacing the new ones...Now the inevitable has happened and i dont know which plug to connect each of the leads to.

I have spent hours searching for pics on here but everyone has thier ecotec panel covering the sparkplug end and so i can't figure it out that way iether!

Anyhoo.. Can someone tell me where A,B,C and D go on my diagram.

arn't they numbered on the dis pack?? the ones i've messed wiv always have been mate have a look on the side of it

ive cleaned it all round and cant see any numbers

They should be numbered.
They are on my DISpak.

EDIT-Ah, its a different dispak to a small block one.

you could probably just try a random combination and work from there - the spark is fired in pairs so you'll soon get the right combination.
If no-one comes up with a combination i'll have a look at my neighbour's veccy tomorrow if i catch him !

Its written in very very small numbers on the web by each bolt hole that holds it on.

Infact I think you can even see part of the number '4' on the top left hand one in your picture (look at about 5 o'clock from the bolt - on the WEB part).

he's right i've circled what appear to be two numbers near the bolts

top left looks to be 1 and bottom right looks to be either 2 or 3
