currently the Zaf has the standard box in it, it provides it with a decent turn of speed and is reasonably quick off the mark but on the motorway it revs like mad...80mph is about 4000rpm and it's a bit 'buzzy'
The plan was to drop a different diff in so as to lower the revs, we were looking at dropping the revs but about 500/750 rpm in 5th, this still keeps the engine at a point where it will pick up when you out your foot down, and may very well improve economy whist on the motorway.
I have been told that there is some sort of calculation i can do so as to figure out what diff i need, can anyone help?
