Corsa Bolt- on Turbo Kits - 1.3 -1.4 -1.6

Hello.

We are based in South Africa. We make a complete bolt on kit for the Opel / Vauxhall Corsa. We have had a kit on our test car (1.3) for the
Past 30 000 kilometres without any problems! the car at 0.4bar boost makes 92kw on the wheels!

The kit is comprehensive and comes with all parts and spares plus a interactive cd rom that covers complete instructions on how to install the kit to your car.

Two kits are available - a low boost version, no opening of the engine is needed with this version, the car runs standard compression.

And a high boost version, with this version new low compression pistons are provided. Higher boost can be run.. Around 1 bar as opposed to 0.4-0.5.

The kit comes in a sectioned cardboard box that is partitioned with the correct parts for each individual section of the manual! the kits comprise of the following.

What sort of BHP will you be looking at with one of these kits?

BHP..

At 0.4 bar boost with the low boost kit the car is making 94kw.
At 1.0 bar bost with the high boost kit the car is making 160kw.

Are these kits for 8V or 16V engines?
We never had a 1.3 corsa B or C over here.
Will they also fit the Corsa A?

Iirc the corsa in SA is the Nova?

And converting KW to BHP: 1KW=1.34BHP

So:

94KW=125.96BHP
160KW=214.4BHP.

I'll believe the first one, but sceptical about the second.

No, the Nova (Corsa A) was Never sold in SA....as far as I am aware.

Just as an fyi Velos are currently working on a 300bhp turbo conversion for the 1.6 corsa. the price will prob be way above these just letting you know that 200+ is probably feasible.

engines

The kits have been developed for the 8V so far, we can do a 16v if there is a request.

Price is negotiable as well, if it is too high, be reasonable and tell me what you think is better.

Power figures for the low boost are confirmed with a Dyno. The high boost is an estimate, have not dyno'd yet, will confirm.

Yes but he was talking about the turbo fitted to a 1.3!

As a point of interest there was no 1.6 8 valvecorsa B or C sold in the UK.
You probably would get more response with the X14XE and X16XE 16V engines.

The 1.4 8v being the 72 BHP C14NV?

As this is for the 8v engines ie as used in novas/corsa A's i'll post this advert on novaload for you too.

As a point of interest there was no 1.6 corsa B or C sold in the UK.

U sure? Corsa B is what we call a K/L?M etc corsa right? Weren't the early gsi's 1.6 8v? later changing to 16v and then losing the gsi name to become the sport?

Oops I meant no 8 valves.

All our corsa GSi's had 16 valve engines, firstly the C16XE then the X16XE.

I'm 99% sure not in this country. Some foreign GSi's had an 8 valve engine.

they did in this country aswell, there was one for sale round the corner from me about a yer ago, i went to have a look at it, 1 owner from new corsa gsi 8v
