Car tries to cut out when raining

When it is drie the car appears to run fine but when it is raining and you are coming upto a junction the car tries to stall.

Ity does not completley stall but the revs will drop right down to about 250rpm and then bounce up to normal.

This has got me stumped and is really annoying. Any enlightenment on this would be very much appreciated :beer:

Mine doesn't exactly the same thing, its really weird.

On a dry day, it never does it.

If its damp/raining, sometimes i stop at a junction and like you say the revs drop way down, almost cutting out, i have to keep it revved to stop it cutting out.

But if i stop and let the idle sort itself out, its fine.
But sometimes does it all the time.

might be ur throttle position sensor or air flow sensor if u got an induction kit near the front grill or close to the floor and its sucking in water

They dont have a air flow meter.
Just a Map sensor.

There is also no EM light coming on.

Have you checked the HT connections at all?? Moisture is not their friend.

Checked dizzy, leads and plugs, all are dry

Blast some WD40 around the plugs - May help you out mate
