Hi all,
trying to get to the bottom of warm start problem, starts fine when cold..trawled the tinterweb and cant find an answer.
The only thing i can think of is the temp gauge in the car takes a long time to move ,15 min, could this be fooling the ecu thinking the engine is cold and causing over fueling or glowplug to still work when hot?
Anyone got a solution? i have seen water in wiring, egr, cam sensors, glowplugs, airlock, fuel pre heater, starter motor suggested but no one has ever said they cured the problem after replacing.

if the coolant gauge takes a while to move then would assume thermostat is/has failed.
could also be a vacuum pipe split enough that when its warm the gap is enough to cause a problem, or lose clip/split intercooler pipe etc..so check all pipe work 1st as could be as simple as that.
