Hi, im just wondering if anyone can help me. I've got a astra 1.7 DTI, Y17DT recently which i had changed the head gasket on. Now it worked fine for a few months but now the head gasket has gone again. I was not driving it at the time, but my suspicions are that it had overheated again thus causing the head gasket to blow again. Now ive done the head again, and before putting it back on the road checked it with my diagnostics. Its constantly showing this: Multifunction (Cooling fan - ECU - Diagnose)
DTC Description: 17 - Revolution signal - Missing,
Does anyone have any idea what this corresponds to? As i am worried now that the cooling fan may not have been working properly thus causing the car to overheat. Can anyone shed some light on this please. I've changed the coolant sensor and still the same. thanks
