Hi looking for some expert advice or someone who has done this.
There is conflicting advice about on how to push back the brake piston when changing brake pipes.
Do I clamp the brake pipe and open the bleed nipple before pushing the piston back? Some say this prevents dirty fluid being pushed back into the ABS unit and flipping the seals.
If so how do I clamp the pipe without damaging it?
Can I get away with just pushing the piston back with the reservoir cap removed?
Thanks
