will a 1.8 carb and manifold fit a 2.0 engine in place of the injection system and use 1.8 mechanical fuel pump and cam,or will a old mk11 cav 1.6 carb,cam and manifold run it

yes but power will be horrendus (as in non existant) 2.0 uses round ports 1.8 has square ports. also you'll need the cam box from the 1.8 and cam to drive the mech pump.

instead investigat throttle bodies or twin carbs. better results from them

so thats a no no then,it was just for easyness one of my mates is wanting to put seh in nova it was to save all the wiring,fuel lines tank, fuel pump etc cheers mate
