Will this work to give me cruise control. I will obviously need the indicator stalk. Anything else.

1) That is only the motor. With that system you need the ecu, loom, switch.

2) Would need more details on the year/reg and engine in your car (ecotec ?)

I'll ask him if he has it then. How would you specify the section of loom i need.

How much would you reckon that part alone is worth?

Humm, you don't need a relay now. I need to update my guide !

To be honest the carlton systems are so unreliable (ecu's fail) and are more difficult to fit that it's not worth the trouble/hassle and cost.

The loom is the cruise control loom that runs between the motor to the ecu by the glovebox.

Motor is worth what you want to pay. £15 ?

It was fitted as per Andy's guide.

Had that set up on the cav for 3 months but after going through 4 ecu's I gave up and fitted the Omega stuff.

With the Omega stuff it doesnt work if going less that 40 mph
