Friends Astra has a long sensor mounted on the CH, towards top left of the engine when viewed from the radiator side, it is mounted near the water hoses or thermostat housing but is definitely not on the water housing, but on the cylinder block and has a single wire, it is dripping out with oil. is it an oil pressure sensor or engine temperature sensor? what is it please. Thanks Cant post pictures because Photobucket has become greedy buggers.

If you see this YouTube video at 0.02, you see a sensor on the right of a big radiator hose leading to a thermostat housing, so it is this sensor to its right that is dripping of oil.

Looks like the oil pressure sensor/switch. Its a fairly common issue for these to leak on the Z14xep engine, but they are not expensive or difficult to replace.
