Re building my 20xe due to big end failure. Was running a autopumps uk pump from the last rebuild. Unfortunately it dropped pressure and killed the big ends. What pump should I be using? And can any one get the 1700 turbo diesel big end bearings in .5 oversized? I can get a z20leh pump for £100 but not too sure on weather this is going to be good.

Dont think you can really go wrong with the ZLET/H pump and pick up tbh. Thats what everone seems to upgrade to now when doing rebuilds.
If you are buying one though, buy a genuine vauxhall one, not pattern.

depends on engine spec, if its not a mental 8k plus rpm full build i would just use a stock GM xe one, no need for an upgrade so to speak

I used the uprated inner gear from SBD when my oil pump fell apart.

Works out a lot cheaper than the later oil pump, and a modded pick up pipe.

The only problem I got with standard pump is I can't get a early type gm pump and the one I got is auto pumps uk. So when I use the z20leh pump I need to modify the pick up pipe. Or is any one selling them?
