Haven’t had any luck with starter motors. The first starter motor that came on the engine, was worn out and lazy and the original. Had another 2 starters in my spares that I’d got from my old rally car a few years ago and they were also both not working. New one ordered which should be here tomorrow afternoon so we can finally crank the engine over.

New starter motor on and it cranked up no bother. Engine & Spot light loom are finished. Just Front lights & rear lights to start and a interior loom to start which has Fuel pump, Intercom, Fuel Sender, Interior light and Map light.

Bought a 9” Comex suction fan to replace the standard fan. Much neater and plenty of room compared to the old fan.

Good update from this past week. Car went up to Angus Lawrie Motorsport for a few jobs and collected it today.

Quaife Gear linkage
Kevlar Sill Guards
Full suspension geometry
Mudflaps

Looks a totally different car now with the sill guards & mudflaps. Gear linkage is so precise and the throw between gears in minimal, whole car will take some time to get used to.

Take the car down to Tony Law exhausts on Tuesday for a custom system then ready for a MOT next Saturday.
