Never been on here before but I thought I would share my project that I’ve been on with for about a year now. Full project from start is on PNG but will post a few pics from start to now.

Here’s some photos from roundabout this time last year when I got the cage & fabrication work done. Luckily it was already a rally car so had all strengthening plates etc on. Got rid of the bolt in cage and put a Hockly Motorsport weld in cage instead.

Start of November 2019 I got it in the bodyshop for some paint. Gone for a Aston Martin colour inside, something a bit different & Glacier White outside.

Yeah it is a very good shell, only had about 20 minutes worth of welding to do. The rears are just Astra GTE. Don’t need much more than that as it’s easy to over brake them in the rear

Fitted lockstops in the rack this week to protect any damage to the drive shafts. Bit of locktight around the edge of the washer and sealed it with sikaflex to stop it from working loose.

Chucked a seat in tonight and got my position on the seat rails bang on. Got a rough idea of where I want my steering wheel at as I’m gonna be using a weld in quick release boss because I wouldn’t be able to get out of the car with a standard boss because of the cage and seats. Makes abit of a tidier job aswell

Just the plugs to wire into for the Engine Loom, Light Loom and Car loom. Easy to unclip everything if I ever want the dash or engine out.
