Just wondered if there is anything I can do to bring the temperature of the intake air down on my V6 - would I benefit from an intercooler?

Sorry if that's a silly question but it runs noticably worse in warm weather!

Thanks

My brother has the same problem with his VR6, scorching engine bay temps !!!

Intercooler is only for turbo or supercharged cars

You could fit a cold air feed to the std. airbox.
(A Bmc Carbon Airbox is also a good idea)

or heat wrap the exhaust manifold.

Not a good idea on standard manifolds as they crack like crazy.
Get a cold air feed and some sort of an insulation. Mine rarely goes to 30 degrees (when stuck in traffic) , but usually is the same as the temperature outside.
