What causes a tyre to squeal? After adjusting the camber/castor on my corsa and having a full allignment my Continental Contacts are now squealing quite bad in hard corners. They NEVER used to squeal ever when I was running 2 degrees of neg camber?

I remember some old remoulds :( that I had used to squeal all the time!

Cheers

Camber, castor and toe all can cause tyres to squeal.

Get all of them checked.

No its still running some negative camber, just a bit less though to reduce inside edge tyre wear. All are correct as ive had a full allignment done by a very trustworthy lazer alligners. Its only when I corner VERY hard though, just embarrising that it makes so much noise : (. Whenever ive watched Tiff of TV booting cars a lot of the time their tyres squeal, just wondered why mine didnt and now they do?

The wrong tyre pressure can also cause tyres to squeal
