the lacquer i use is mixed 2:1 with 20% thinners (2 parts lacquer, 1 part hardener) hope this helps matey :D

Hi James,
If you are using cellulose you should mix it 50/50 (so in other words the same amount thinners as Lacquer)also if you are
going to paint in the cold use anti-bloom thinners it'll give a
better finish.

Cheers mate, yeah, i am using premium anti bloom thinners for the final coat, and standard thinners for the primer.

it all depends on the temperature you are spraying at, standard spray temp is 21 degrees c but you cant acheive this in a garage! anti bloom thinners will eliminate blooming, which is sort of a white pasty clouding effect in the lacquer..........im pissed at this moment in time but im sure its true lmao :beer:
