hi folks, got my cav turbo really pleased with it except one thing

when cold, turning to the right as soon as u turn the wheel it gives off a slight clunk stye sound, then its ok till its straight then u turn to right again and it clunks ,

keeps doing this untill the engine is near a high temperature then its ok all the time

any help ??

Could be CV joint....worse when cold due to lack of grease?......as the car gets warm while driving the grease gets warm and gets to the ball race............usually only heard whilst driving.
Does this happen when static?

yeah when the engine is running, sit still and turn to the right and it does it,

turn and a its like it sticks for a sec then it moves thus the slight clunk

Power Steering?.........fluid low?........pump loose?

hey my car does the same as this - it's realyl annoying, but it passed an mot like that so assume it's nothing dangerous?

just had a look at the p sterring bottle, its just lower than the lowest mark on the cap so think i'll top it up a bit and see what happens ,m even though its only gonna be about 10ml
