Hi guys, would it be safe to silver solder the crack in my z20let (K04) exhaust manifold, by the actuator flap. I am going to order a new one in December but need to fix this one now.
My only concern is will the silver solder maintain with the heat generated by the turbine.

Thanks a mill all

Unfortunately they can't really be effectively repaired. The manifold can reach temps of 650 or even 700 degrees C, so any kind of solder will just melt and then contaminate the cat. Some people have welded them for a temporary repair, but it never lasts very long and will eventually just crack again.
