Hi again,
I've got a space frame track car with s X20Xev, in rwd, tilted at 7°
I NEED a shortened sump, 90mm deep maximum, but still holding the full 4.5L capacity.
I know these engines share blocks with many other engine models, can anyone think of a suitable replacement? I've tried shortening a sump, but with no luck, and getting trapped in circles of finding the same items, of unknown dimensions, that look like they might work, but are from a 1.4 lol

Please help! Need to find something soon, before track days open back up (hopefully)

Thanks!

Is there not a dry sump kit for that engine, like the C20XE kit?

A fair point! I've seen plenty for c20xe, but I don't think the pulleys work on x20xev. Besides, the cost, on a track car that only goes out a few times a year, is a bit on the steep side :/
I think there must be something from one of the many engines (perhaps even 1.6 or 1.8) that use the same gasket, that may have a shorter sump as standard
