At the moment I've got A belmont GLSi 1.8 8v
I've done some mods digi dash, gte bumbper white but car is metallic silver, spoiler and interiour mods C plate a bit of rust and a few holes.
I've seen a a GTE white 1.8 8v new door lock need plus tax and mot the odd bit of plastic and wing I got all spare parts in right colour done 145000 but got spare engine. £150

In a word no... never buy trouble. Tempting as it may be to get something for nothing, more often that not you get nothing for your money or simply trouble.

There are Mark 1 astra GTE's and mark 2's going all the time for under £500 and they are a lot less hassle.

good point, I got the car I'm driving at the moment from the same place and it's bet sweet as you like and at £100 it was not a bad buy.
I might have to wait to much to do in a little time I'll have 3 weeks to get it on the road and sell my other car.

yeah i stuck to the belmonts in the end but it aint moved for a while now well it aint had an engine for over two years :doh: i'll get round to it soon
