Can anyone give me some advice on how to do this. It is a small split about an inch and a half long on the curved part where the bumper wraps round the wing.

Halfords do a kit but I don't want to spend 25 quid on it if it is little more than a tube of epoxy filler.

What i've done in the past

1. rub down the rear with rough sandpaper

2. use a soldering iron to seam it back together

3. Screw a piece of mesh over from behind

4. P40 the bugger

5. Turn bumper around, grind screw threads off, fill, prime, and paint

Its the only way I could stop it coming back
