bhp is the amount of work done by the engine in a given time and torque is turning power. So a good combination of them both.

Torque is what makes your car feel fast, and combine that with good bhp and it will feel fast and go fast.

I stand to be corrected however...

Power is how strong your arm is, and Torque is how big the spanner is!

Acceleration is dependant on Torque.

something wrong with that graph, power and torque should always meet at approx 5200RPM

so get the test equipment checked out mind you its not BHP

it's 5252 rpm in BHP and lbft.
