Afternoon,

Seeing as its gonna be a nice weekend in London I was thinking to jet wash my nova and bro's cav engine. I have never actually attempted this.

I will be using a pressure washer of course and will be concentrating on washing the engine from exhaust manifold down. Same with both engines.

Is there anything I need to consider or do so I dont end up c*cking things up. Obviously keep away from electrics but any other tips n tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

do it with the engine running. but prefereably not really hot. Cold water and hot manifolds isnt a good mix.
use plastic bags and rubber bands on electrical things you dont want to get wet.
spray on some Gunk or similar degreaser before you start

i never seen the point in jet washing your engine

the oily gunk that coats everything helps stop it rusting.....
