Hi guys i got a digi dash in my 1.3 and as such the oil pressure guage isn't connected. All was fine till recently when i noticed the guage fluctuating up and down whilst driving. I've checked for iffy wiring in the engine bay but to no avail. I'm stumped.

Any ideas??????

could be just picking up a inteference or touching the block maybe.

It should read max if disconnected, or minimum if grounded.

So you just have the low pressure switch hooked up then (which activates the square red box at the bottom of the oil pressure row)

The oil pressure guage in the 6 dial nova clocks goes a bit awol when its not connected to anything. Just whack a sender in there and connect it up. It looks quite cool. :D

Just about any Vaux sender for a car with a gauge. Nova SR/GTE/SRi, Astra GTE, Some Cavs and Callys.

They all work the same. Just the early ones had spade and pin connection, the later ones had a sureseal plug.

indeed, and the pin is the variable pressure guage feed, the spade/sure-seal plug is the low pressure switch feed
