Last time I refitted a Nova steering wheel I coated the splines of the column with lithium grease in the hope it would make it easier to get off next time.
Never needed to take it off again before I sold it so no idea if it helped or not lmao
A little tip for ya, when you've loosened the nut that holds the steering wheel on, don't remove it completely, leave it on a few turns, that way when you do get the steering off, you won't smack yourself in the face lmao
steering wheel puller - wont cost much more than a tenna im sure, ive got one... so handy, even if you want to take the clocks out or anything, just whip the wheel of and its alot easier
When you undue the nut leave it on a few turns and get a long punch(metal type) and place it on top of the colum/inside the nut and smack it with a hammer, never fails and it wont damage your threds.
see i thought that,
so i got a draper puller,
well they dont line up with the nova holes,
the nova holes r deeper down than most,
the puller works on a cav, astra and things but not a nova...
