the ECU needs that chip, you will need to take it somewhere or send it off to remove immobiliser
or buy another key,transponder,ecu all from same car
Unfortunately it's a pain in the ass but keeps your car secure i suppose.
Fuel injectors are also immobilized. If it was easy to bypass it wouldn't be a lot of use as a security system. Chips and keys can be bought cheaply on ebay. As long as you have the car pass code you can program a new key with op-com quite easily.
