I'd like to put my cav turbo foward for the most unreliable car in the club. So far, in the 3 months i've had it i have had new turbo, new ABS sensor, new wheel bearing, new expansion tank, new turbo eturn hose, new ignition lock, new fog lamp switch, new headlamp washer motor, new bonnet release cable, developed an oil leak. I dont think i've had a weekend when something hasnt gone on it! It had a new engine and clutch fitted by vauxhall, last year as well. Can anyone top this? Damn think scares me so much now, i darent go very in it, in case i cant get back!

Sounds like your having a bad time with it at the moment.
Try talking to Mr Miniturboed about reliability problems because he`s had his fair share.

Apart from the turbo and hose most of it ain't specific to the turbo model.

think yourself lucky mate iv had to renew transfer box propshaft two cv joints 4 wheelbearings 3 215 40 17 tyres 1 wheel new clutch 2 abs sens 4 disks and pads 4 shocks 1 headlamp 1 indicator lamp 1 front wing new turbo oil pipe fromm turbo to oil filter 100 bucks just for pipe handbrake cable ecu then re chipped all in all 4ooo bucks mad or im i stupid

4 wheel bearings!! Couldn't you find the broken one? You poor sod!!! At least its nice to know theres somoene out there fighting the same loseing battle as me

Na. I dont think you're mad. For the few days the car actualy runs right, more than makes up for the money and time spent repairing it!!

Think of it as i do. Soon there wont be much left to go wrong

Try a valver nova. I aint had it on the road a year yet and you name it I've broke it...Still good fun and I use every day.
