Sounds like a nice upgrade..

What does the V MAX EVO 5 management system offer you?

Just out of interest.. Any gen on what the thicker head gasket does. I know it lowers the compression but not sure why this is good?

Cheers,
OP :)

The head gasket is a 1.1 Steel item.

Vmax Stuff is very good im running at EVO 2 chip at the mo and it does the job very well plus its meant to have better safety cut that the EDS stuff, and getting anything out of regal is like getting blood out of a stone so i stopped flocking that dead horse.

I got a 1.7 Steel for mine.

I bought the Rod Bolts Teddy, took one end cap off and the bearings were worn. And thats at less than 50,000 miles since Vauxhall put it together. Reason? Still not sure, I don't rev it from cold, change the oil alot but it has been running high power for over a year.
