should the test be different for a turbo car? i.e more test pressure ?
hes says its " passed " but No4 needs a bit of lapping in ??
ffs if it leaks surely it don't pass even 1% leak or whatever

..noooo... using that same logic, a leakdown test would either be 100% or 0%.

generally, a leakdown test has 'passed' provided the engine shows no more than 10% leakage on all pots - but the criteria are arbitrary - an BTCC engine, for instance, probably fails if any pot shows more than 1% leakdown.

same goes for valve leakage..

what happens **** builds up on the valve seat and it makes it not seal 100%
is the head off the car? just get all the valves relapped into their seats
then u know theyll seal 100%
