What's considered a safe maximum for these? I'm currently redlining at 8.2K RPM and still have the hydraulic lifters.

I thought tit was the ramp of the cms that determined this not rpm so much.

yeah agreed. thats not to say you could rev standard cams to 9k and it would be fine though.

apart from comments about cam specs, I think 8k is a sensible limit - beyond that they will begin to aerate.

Well from what I understand, solids will require adjustment. I am doing 30K a year currently which would probably equate to several adjustments?
