Just got a quote off the above: £1000 for my astra GSI with a LET fitted,plus all the other bits, wheels... induction kit...lowerd..... blah...blah.. blah.

seemed a bit high,

AON,who i am insured with at present want £700 for the same amount of cover. Looks like i am staying with them.

they have put their prices up recently, when i first decided on getting a new car I phoned for a quote which was going to be just over 400 with six months left on my policy but i had to go to tpft. I phoned again recently to see if they'd insure me on an import(which they dont do apparently) so i just checked the other car again for good measure and they want near 600 for less than 5 months!!
