hi,
while i was finding out what my grindong sound was (CV joint) i noticed that my front pads are V. low so im going to get the disks and the pads replaced just wondering what to go for mate thinks i should get standard disks and uprated pads im looking to do this on the cheap so anyone got any idea's whats best to get???

Dont know much about brakes but I would imagine that you'd want to match uprated pads with uprated discs. Otherwise the pads could cause wear to the discs. May be way off though!

hmmm......never thought of that

anyone with any gen on standard disks with uprated pads can they damage the disks?

For ATE brakes, stick with GM pads and uprated discs, say EPC grovved. Never have liked drilled though.

I bought pattern part discs and pads for my calipers and they have lasted years now.
