got a set of pukka aeroquip brake lines, however. the rear beam ones seem a problem. how do they mount using the unions they have on them. the old ones have a clip to f=hold them on the brackets on the beam, but the aeroquip unions are too small and pass through the hole, how have other people mounted them

could space it out with some old fuel hose, cut lengthways and slipped over the braided lines. zip ties, anything. just needs to be held onto the beam right ?

i suppose yeah, doesn't have to be dead secure, they just take the movement of the beam up and down i suppose

That "C" clip is a must. You'll fail the MOT if it's not secured in place, the new hoses should have come with the correct fittings for the car. You could buy some adaptors from Thinkauto in London etc.

emphasis on secured. it doesnt have to be that exact C clip.
