Where do you position the thing doesn't seem to be any fitting destructions with the kit ???

It goes behind the front skirt and attaches to the bumper.

Have a look HERE for a pic of one with it fitted.

This pic shows exactly how its mounted with its 2 brackets attached to the black bit of metal behind the skirting -

Failing that, Russ will reply when he sees this as he has fitted one himself.

Yup, I dont care what anyone says, that bugger will NOT fit on a standard Cav bumper unless you lose the foglamps and 90% of the inside edge of the trim

Surely this must cause a lot of lag due to its size at the bottom end in comparison with a charge-cooler.

Which is the best - A charge cooler or Inter cooler?

There is not much diff between a chargecooler and intercooler NORMALLY but this intercooler wins purely to the sheer fecking size of it.

There is a slight bit more lag but you dont notice it as much and by the time you get to 30MPH, the cooler is working nicely and you just take off like normal.... only a bit better.

And if you go for the full phase III then a standard Cav Turbo will not keep with it once it reaches 30-40MPH from a standing start. Beleive me, me and Russ have tested this and I had to make sure I wasnt in neutral

May sound funny but the Calibra one MAY fit the Astra. Its all a matter of the room you have behind your frint skirting.

Been 3-4 years since I had an Astra so I would be lieing if I said I knew for definite. Have a look tho, you might be surprised.
