Thanks for the post, but,

Do you know which 2 pins to join together on the diagnostic plug in the fuse box to make the management light flash the fault codes.

the light is on the dash constantly and I wanna check it myself.
I have all the codes, but dont know which is terminal a and b, for me to join them up.

Once you have unplugged the diag plug (blue one) you need to put your magnifying glasses on to find the A+B pins. The letters are VERY small but they are there.

Would like to say the one nearest this or that, but would be more accurate if you have a look to make sure its definitely the right pins you are connecting.

Post the fault codes here or, even better, at the CavWeb Board at the same time as there are many ppl there that can help with this engine.

If you can see the wires you want the brown wire and the brown/yellow wire.

Soz guys, weve got our wires crossed.
The turbo engine is in a mk3 Astra, not a cav,
The diag plug is in the fuse box, cannot see the wires going into it.
There are 2 colums by five rows of terminals.
ie, ten all together,
only 6 of them are used,
but still not sure which 2 to bridge together??

Shouldnt matter if you bought the Turbo look etc with it.

The wires MAY be different (unusual but possible) but the plug should be fine. Do they not have letters on the plugs.... tiny tiny letters
