On a Astra 3 1.4 mpi, would changing a f13 gbox to a f13cr improve acceleration at all? Whats the standard 0-60 for a 1.4MPi?

Thanks!

F13 CR acceleration

Yes you will see a small increase in acceration times as the gears on a F13 CR are closer together luss reducing the amout of engine speed drop between gear ratios and therefore keeping the engine in the torque curve/power band.
However these F13CR have a 21MPH per 1000RPM final drive ratio which is to much for a nova or Corsa with less than 115BHP and high torque figure to pull into the red in top. A far better gearbox for both accerelation and overall top speed is the F10 CR we have had both gearbox's in a well modifed 1400 nova with the same engine and despite the 18.2MPH per 1000RPM final drive ration we regularly see 120MPH and on the M40 we slipped stream a new BMW 320D upto 132MPH. We have a mint F13 CR box with only 60,000 mile for sale if you are still interested.
