Went to the breakers yard earlier, in Stock off the A12 and found a couple of things that might be of interest.

One of the Yards has an Astra GTE 16v with frontal collision damage. The engine is still in, but more importantly it has a Champion leather interior. It looks complete, the drivers doorcard looks like it needs a little work, and the front seats are a little dirty and mouldy, but not ripped. Definately worth a look if you live nearby and long for the champion leather in your GTE.

In another yard is a Cav CDX. It is on top of another car and the only door that opens is the drivers side. The others are all locked, like the chubb lock is on, you cannot unlock them. The car was towed away after a 7 day yellow sticker was placed on the screen. Its an L reg in green with no accident damage, 2.0l 16V proberably and Ecotec.

The interior is Black (Drivers seat is ripped) but the rest looks great. If you can open the doors without damage it has the 4 door cards with wood inserts, and 4 electric windows with the switch and everything.

I just hope someone finds this info usefull.

Should be easy enough to open the doors (I think) If you can get to the dead lock swith inside the drivers door and make sure a good battery is connected they should all open.
