went to the scrapy and got one from a 1.4 corsa but dont no what box out off
went to the vauxhall garage and they could not find it on there screen it was them
that said go to the scrapy will post a pic if you want

Yeah, please. Was it just the sensor and wiring you got?

got the hole drive but need to do a wee bit off wiring to it as the scrapy cut the wire short will try and send the pics to you

Looks something like that yeah. Pulled it out of a 1.2 corsa box, but I've been told it's only going to give 15 pulses?

 

that sendor has a magnetic pick-up inside the box that reads the speed
the white sendor or vss as i think its know that has a trigger wheel in the box which spins the small wheel at the bottom and that intern spins the cable to the clocks
what are you trying to do are you coverting the clocks

 

I have a set of Cav Turbo clocks kicking about that I was toying with fitting. Also, I wanted a proper pulse for the cruise control setup I intend to fit too. I thought that this sender would resolve all that as it's meant to drive speedo's on non abs vehicles, which I thought was 28 pulses per revolution.

 

the 1.6 16 valve engine i put in has a mechanical box, where as the 1.0 engine has a electrical pick up in it

 

well as far im aware the one you have in the picture is the same as mine a 15 impulse sender and should work with the engine you have
i only used the 15 impulse sender as i only coverted my mechanical speedo to electric so as o could fit a set of clocks with a rev counter
but i will double check and let you know
