i just went round a corner in my corsa at just over 100mph. it wasnt a tight corner, more a sweeping one. it didnt feel good atall... the car felt rather unstable, what i dont get is how people can take a corsa or nova on a track and reach such high speeds and go round corners!?

lol you did that in a corsa 1l 12v? you brave b**tard.

I got to a 100 going down a big windings hill in one of those beasts and it felt bloody awful.

I swear they're fitted with the same suspension as those old silver cross prams.

if its set up correctly then it should handle pretty well, but 100mph is a bit fast on the road, and probably much nicer on the track as its so much flatter.

well the -80 springs might not be doing the handling much good.

Basically as all the geometry will be out. Also depends if the shocks can really cope with such a drop.

In all my experience of modding, a -80 mm drop adds up to crap handling and a tendency to scrape yer zorst on sleeping policemen! Get quality springs that are 60mm drop max or lower mate.

Problem sorted!!
