these things take so much work and time, but they come out good, and save weight.

im following in your foot steps slightly .... well... not really ... but ive ditched 33 kilo's off the front end of my astra. should help a bit with the stereotypical front wheel drive understeer plague

Took Cecil for a little drive the other weekend for the first time since September, when I got home noticed there was a trail of oil on the drive After a lot of cleaning and groveling around I discovered the oil pipe for the oil pressure sensor had failed so off it came and I made up a replacement. The lower is the old piece of pipe, the black dot in the middle is where the rubber has ruptured and burst through the stainless braid.

Also I made a mould for the fuel tank cover lid

Made a lid

Cut a hole in the top of the tank

To accept this 3d printed toothed ring.

That bolts into the lid with a HDPE gasket

and allows me to fill the tank.
