It's probably a quater, yes. No idea how big they are tbh. The guy who posted the picture ( works the machine that made it ) says they are 108mm dia though, so that's probably a better portrayl!

Yep, machined from billet. Apparently it does it all with a 1/4" ball cutter!

lightweight huh, i have just hand crafted a AR 1.01468002144 from solid bit of iron and an angle grinder

I just made one with just a match stick (used) and a peice of cardboard ( dipped in gravy ) It's also got variable vane geometry so it spools quickly and has good power too!

The program for that must be quite complex yet very repetitive.

You have to lower the tone by using a used match stick and cardboard dipped in gravy and having variable vane geometry.

i just made one from a used drawing pin and a petrol soaked lit piece of paper and its got adjustable turbine nozzle and the radius from the centre of the turbine axel to the centroid of the housing throat.
