Was driving earlier, doing about 20Mph, and there was a bump, and the clutch pedal has sunk to the floor.

I think its the clutch release bearing, but not sure. Hoping its not the clutch as dont fancy having to do it outside the house.

Any ideas, If Clutch, I know that I can get to it thru the inspection plate on the bellhousing, but I dont have a slide hammer, so cant get the Input Shaft back in, so would have to be a Gearbox off job. Can the BG be moved over to to allow the Pressure Plate (Clutch assembly) to be removed.

A pic from EPC, or a copy of the relevant pages from Mr Haynes would be nice.

u can do the clutch with just splitting the box from the lump just undo left hand side ( ball joint trackrodend etc so its moveable )it will be tight but it can be done like that ill email u pages from haynes

or the spring at the top of the pedal

the cale moves with the pedal and the spring seems okay, the pedal falls to the floor with the cable off the clutch release fork, the cable has been pulled at both ends, and nowt came off, so I guessing the cable okay
