I know this is a vox forum! hence me Cav T. But in order to keep that in good nick i need a runaround!

Q is i have a xantia TD - with 186k on the clock the engines fooked. does anyone know the differences between the TD and normal Diesel? can i just get a diesel and swap the turbo items across?

i know its a distant cry from vox but any gen would be appreciated

Nope the internals are different, the head is similar but not the same and the cams will be different to help with the boost. also alot of other hoses are nedded.

The pug 406 uses the same engine as the Xantia. So you might get a pranged 406/Xantia/XM cheap.

The differences between the TD and the D is the intercooler induction hoses and the fuel pump. So if you swap all that gear over that should be you.

If you up the fuel delivery you get more power to.
Of course this all depends on how old the Xantia is, they were still using the same engines up to R reg, dunno about the newer ones.
