My aircon light doesnt come on when the button is pressed, the cars revs drop slightly but theres no light and no cold air..

The bulbs fine, are there any obvious things I should be looking for or are we looking at a new unit or a refil maybe?

This aircons new to me, closest I ever got was 140 with the windows open lmao

make sure they put dye in the system when it's refilled to leaks can be found

Cost of a charge of Gas to am AC specialist is about £20.
Oil + Dye £10.
Add in his hour labour, + his repayment contributition for all the kit, you are looking at £100 really, like Andy says.
