Hi all I know this chat is year old but I need bit of help just had a engine built. And I’ve done a compression test and it’s 240 on each. Cylinder is this to high ? Thanks dean

I'm running high compression C20XE Omega intruder pistons and my compression is around the 270psi mark as shown below. Depending on your build high compression is perfectly normal. However, if your engine is completely and utterly standard then I would be concerned with a compression as high as 240psi.

Hi mate thanks forgetting back to me no it’s highly modified but warm engine dry I’m getting over 300 psi per cylinder just seems very high to me
