Hi guys, I'm new in here and I write from Italy :D
Which kind of upgrade I can do to my brakes? I use 16 inches wheels ;)
I can install bigger brakes and calipers from another Vauxh/Opel ?

Thank you very much

you shouls get a slight improvement in braking with the cavalier/vectra/astra 256mm brakes, they have bigger calipers and pads than the tigra brakes.

or better again go for some vectra A or calibra v6/turbo or vectra b brakes which are 284/288mm these will fit under 15's and a big improvment. you should be able to get some off of a 5stud vectra b/c from a scrap yard for very very cheap.

or better again and what i use is the vectra 2.6 gsi brakes, (only on the later 2.6's) which are 308mm and these fit under 16's..

people running the 288's/308's on corsa's/nova's/tigra's generaly seem to get the problem of spongy brake pedal. definatly get a set of braided hose all round to hopefully prevent this problem.

otherwise for a similar price to the m-tech 308mm kit you can get a set of 280mm 4pots from the likes of willwood/hi-spec ect..

or you can go for a hi-spec big brake kit which essentialy just spaces the caliper out to match up with the new bigger discs, this way you wont gte any of the problems assoiated with the spongy pedal..

no reply? don't post a link to a dutch website then...

Anyway, what you need is this:
http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/product.php?productid=16347&cat=0&page=1

I wanted Tarox G88 discs so I sourced the discs from Italy and the rest from www.autovaux.co.uk - it still worked out far cheaper than M-Tech prices you listed.

If you are concerned about them fitting under 16s, go down a size to this:
http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/product.php?productid=16345&cat=1269&page=1

If you want to source your own discs at 284/ 288, I have some 284mm calipers from a calibra turbo.
ops.... i'm sorry.... i've posted a dutch link.... :doh::doh:

Thank you for helping me ;)
I'm going to use 308mm discs :p
