on my cabriolet (non abs) i have a astra 16v rear beam fitted with rear discs, the problem is, is when i brake hard the rears seem to lock up easily even when i havent applied the brakes enough to lock the fronts  its had new front/rear drilled discs no longer than 500 miles ago. can i cure this as it feels dangerous?

thanks steve

Try putting some copper grease on the insides of the pads lmao lmao lmao

Sounds like your rear compensating valve is putting more pressure to the rear as it does when your fully loaded , is it recently lowered ? im not sure but can you alter the valve via a thread , im sure someone must know , im just havin a wild stab in the dark here .

try using the compensator valves that are on the gte's master cylinder that should stop all the pressure going to the rear

Yes, you need to get a hold of a pair of pressure restrictors, they are screwed to the master cylinder.
